Going Home through the Park

Going Home through the Park, 2007, oil 26" x 36".

I am very fond of the silver birches in the park. My favourite enclosed composition is ready made by the circular shape of the space they grow in. I made up the family group in the foreground from memory and experience of people seen over the years, but the man walking briskly in the opposite direction was there and I just liked the way he was dressed and the way he moved.
